Friends of the Midwest Theater was organized in 1998 to keep the historic movie theater on Broadway in downtown Scottsbluff a vital part of the community. The 1946 Art Modérne building, along with the adjacent Baumgartner building, has been restored and is the community’s premier venue for movies, musical and theatrical performances, recitals, weddings…a broad variety of programming. The Midwest Theater is a treasure of a resource that seats over 700 patrons!

Why Become a Member?
The majority of our operating expenses are paid from annual sustaining membership funds. Our members keep the doors open and allow us to offer programs that enlighten and entertain, as well as reasonably offer this beautiful facility as a venue to other organizations and individuals (call the office at 632-4311 for rental information). Members instantly become a part of our history by joining the legacy of supporters who have preserved this treasure for over 69 years and will continue to preserve her for future generations.

BASIC Membership

- Member price tickets for any regularly scheduled movie (limit 2 per movie)
- Member price tickets for Midwest Theater live show events (limit 2 per show)
- Advance ticket purchase privileges on select live shows

BASIC Membership
+ Family Upgrade

- Extends your BASIC membership benefits on movie tickets and live shows to teens 13-18 (limit 2 per event)
- Receive a TEEN membership card, with up to two teens’ names on the card

 

PLATINUM Membership

- Includes all the benefits of a BASIC membership, plus:
- A reusable concessions discount coupon

 

 

PLATINUM Membership
+ Family Upgrade

- Extends your PLATINUM membership benefits on movie tickets and live shows to teens 13-18 (limit 2 per event)
- Receive a TEEN membership card, with up to two teens’ names on the card

 

GOLD Membership

- Includes all the benefits of a PLATINUM membership, plus:
- An upgrade to FREE movie tickets for any regularly scheduled movie (limit 2 per movie)

 

GOLD Membership
+ Family Upgrade

- Extends your GOLD membership benefits on movie tickets and live shows to youth 18 & under (limit 2 per event)
- Receive a TEEN OSCAR membership card, with up to two youths’ names on the card

 

DIAMOND Membership

- Includes all the benefits of a GOLD membership, plus:
- A reusable concessions coupon for a FREE date pack
- FREE family upgrade – extends your membership benefits on movie tickets and live shows to youth 18 & under (limit 2 per card)
- Receive a TEEN OSCAR membership card, with up to two youths’ names on the card

 

CORPORATE Membership

- All the benefits of DIAMOND membership, plus:
- Name recognition on the theater’s outdoor marquee (limited availability)
- On screen recognition prior to movie
- Corporate member name on website
- Two copies of membership, concession coupon, and TEEN OSCAR cards, for double the benefits (limit 2 per member card)
